The αis series is a high-speed, high-precision and high-efficiency intelligent servo system to meet high-speed and highprecision requirements of compact machine tools. FANUC has also developed enhanced feed smoothness of the αis servo motor series and has improved the absolute precision of its pulse coder for detecting position and speed.

The βis series is a servo system with excellent reliability and cost performance. FANUC added a 2 axis servo amplifier to the Pi amplifier line-up which is most suitable for the feed axis of low-end lathes. This improvement will further enhance the established cost performance of the pis servo system.

The Linear Motor Lis series is a compact high-speed and high-acceleration linear motor with a thrust force of 300N 17000N for applications with super high-speed, high-acceleration and high-precision machine tools. A new environment-resistant model, which can maintain its reliability even in a severe adverse environment, has been added to the line-up.

The synchronous built-in servo motor Dis series is a servo motor which features direct drive without a reducer. This important feature contributes to higher productivity in machining centers and higher precision in 5 axis machines. Two newly developed models have been added to expand the line-up to a total of I I models with various performance features to meet the full range of customer needs.

The Large Servo Motor αis series is an energy saving servo motor with large torque and output, which uses multiple standard amplifiers to drive one motor. A new model with rated torque of IOOONm and maximum speed of 3000min-1 has been added to this series to contribute to the efficiency of large electric servo press machines.
